and their struggle to halt the contracting out health services.

Having served 72 hours strike notice, HEU is in a position to commence
strike action tomorrow Sunday.

The BC Liberals have reduced the accessibility and the quality of health
care by closing hospitals and other health care facilities, by firing expert
health care workers and replacing them with people who are underpaid and
overloaded with work.  They have lowered standards of cleanliness and food
services by contracting services out to multi-national corporations whose
sole aim in running the facilities is turning out a fat profit.

Support HEU now.  Don't wait until you have to go to hospital.

DEFEATING HEU IS A MUST FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND ITS RICH FRIENDS in order to
freely continue turning our health care system into one big source of
revenue for powerful transnationals.

SUPPORTING HEU IN THEIR STRUGGLE TO BRING A SHRED OF DECENCY TO THE
BARGAINING TABLE IS KEY FOR US as we fight to stop the BC Liberal
privatizations and reverse the wounding measures they have taken against
health care.

It is in our interest, as much as it is in the interest of BC's health care
workers, that the over 100 pages of concessions that BC's health employers
and the BC Liberal government are demanding, be rejected.
