L'Hirondelle, a founding member of Livable Income For Everyone
The Window Pain project grows from an outraged disAbled population, who
are under an attack of astounding proportions by BC's Neo Liberal
Government. We are a part of a government lead re-assessment, or,
designation review. We aim to move our friends and neighbors to act. We
aim to bring our demands to Victoria.
Last year we gathered Disability level 2 and 1 Recipients who have since
been working towards a collaborative art show called "Ripping it Up" that
asks the question, "How has the Government Reassessment process affected
your life?" The group and its multi media art is diverse and exciting not
to mention life saving.
Will you be willing to help us with the production of this show? Even
five bucks rocks!
Maybe you are interested in helping with the show re: Public Relations,
Press, food donations, poster donations, financial donations for
photography costs or helping to set up? If a bunch of us put in $5.00
dollars each, that would help tremendously. Maybe you want to be
introduced to some of our participants. if any of these options appeal to
your sense of community building then please email kym at :
