 This letter is to show our support to our indigenous brothers and sisters
of Bolivia in light of the recent events that have resulted in the deaths of
more than 70 people.  Please read it over and reply to this message if you

can sign as an organization and/or as an individual.

 To the people of Bolivia,



 We are aware of the recent massacres perpetrated by the Lozada
administration. We strongly condemn these and others acts of repression that
are going on in Bolivia these days, such as the use of paramilitary groups
to detain social activists, or the fact that the army is on the streets
shooting civilians. We stand in solidarity with the people of Bolivia and
their just demands of sovereignty and freedom.



 Despite the intensity of last weekend's -October 11 and 12-, massacres by
the army and the Lozada administration, that let more than 70 fatal victims,
including children, and hundreds of wounded, the resistance and organization
of the Bolivian people to defend Bolivia's natural gas from being shipped
out to the US and Mexico by transnational companies, has been a very
gratifying lesson of courage and dignity for all nations living under the
oppression of capitalism.



 Bolivian sisters and brothers, resist and continue your fight against the
tyrant Lozada, a.k.a. "gringo" and against capitalism.  We express our
solidarity and fraternity with the Bolivian people in struggle. We will
continue gathering information about the situation in Bolivia, and
denouncing the horrific crimes of the Lozada government.



 Stop the massacre of Bolivian people!


 Present the disappeared!


 Release all political prisoners!


 Lozada, murderer, resign!



 Long live the struggle of the Bolivian people!

 Al heroico pueblo de Bolivia:



 Ante los recientes hechos de masacre realizados por el gobierno asesino y
vendepatria del "goni" Lozada, manifestamos nuestro más hondo repudio a
estos salvajes actos de guerra perpetrados por los cuerpos represivos del
Estado boliviano, tales como el uso de grupos paramilitares para detener a
luchadores sociales y el uso del ejército para acribillar al pueblo ante las
justas demandas de soberanía y democracia por las que los bolivianos vienen
realizando desde fechas atrás.



 No obstante esta cruenta masacre, que ha cobrado la vida de mas de 70
bolivianos, incluyendo niños, y cientos de heridos, el ánimo valiente y
combativo se muestra cada vez más en esta lucha de resistencia por la
defensa de los recursos naturales de la patria boliviana, como el gas. La
lección de firmeza y dignidad que nos ofrecen es gratificante para todos lo
pueblos sojuzgados por el yugo del capitalismo salvaje.



 Adelante hermanos y compañeros bolivianos en esta justa lucha contra el
capitalismo y la tiranía del "gringo"; manifestamos nuestra más grande y
fraterna solidaridad con los mejores hijos del pueblo boliviano.
Continuaremos pendientes del desarrollo de esta importante etapa en la
historia de la patria boliviana y continuaremos denunciando los horribles
crímenes del gabinete de Lozada.
