Because this is a discussion list, I'd like to pose a question: If we do not
precipitate a general strike in BC the instant the bombs start falling on
Bagdad, when will we do this thing that we have been threatening for at
least a year against the morally bankrupt administration in Victoria? And
power to all those already on the picket lines all over our province. I'm
involved with the Langara students organizing for a mass walkout of the
entire school is/when the bombs start falling. We are hoping to get enough
people to block Cambie street traffic; perhaps march all the way downtown to
the Embassy, or hire buses.
