[mobglob-discuss] Sat.June 14th: Rally for Willingdon Care Aides

RALLY ON JUNE 14TH 
AT 11:00AM 
AT WILLINGDON PRIVATE HOSPITAL:
4435 GRANGE ST  behind the Old Orchard shopping centre in BURNABY (one block north of Kingsway),
organized by the Willingdon Local of the Hospital Employees Union (HEU)
to protest the dismissal of 55 care aides currently working at the hospital,
as a result of the BC Liberal privatization of hospital support services.

  THIS IS WHERE THEY NEED US.

                                        Speakers include:  
Fred Muzin, President, Hospital Employees Union
Jack Nichol, formerly the President of the United Fishermen and Allied Workers Union and a member of the BC FORUM [Federation of Retired Union Members]
Ben Swanky, historian,
Joyce Jones for the Network of Seniors, and
Alicia Barsallo for the BC Latin American Congress.
