Dear All, please help me by filling out this survey (attached and below) or
forward it to friends.
Alex Grant
The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada is seeking to
help non-union workers uphold their rights at work - especially workers
under 30. Please fill out this survey, or ask your family to, so we can
focus our efforts. Each reply will be entered into a prize draw for $100 in
gift certificates at the store of your choice.
The attached electronic survey can be printed out and mailed or you can save
your changes and email the attachment to: cepyouth at hotmail.com (the text of
the survey is also included below).

Answer to Q6.
Employers in BC can dismiss a worker for any reason. The BC Human Rights
Code prohibits discrimination, but you would have to prove that was why you
were dismissed. The best job security comes from being a member of a union.
You cannot be fired without just cause if you are protected by a collective
agreement.
