Hi Bella,
I can only 2nd Rick's call to keep up the great work of exposing the
bid corp. and all of the swindlers associated with it. I briefly
heard
on CBC radio news Vancouver this morning that No Games has
exposed the bid corp. as cyber-squatters! hee hee, NICE WORK!
Here's hoping you get your domain back from this totally
unethical bunch of international gangsters.
Saludos,
Tom

Hi Julia (and everyone else),
Straw poll time !!
If there's an issue with me posting news about the anti-olympic
movement,
please let me know. I would think that MOBGLOB, being a global justice
forum, would be interested in keeping up to speed on this local/global
issue since the mainstream media doesnt do accurate reporting. The
very
nature of this listserve is to share info on local and global justice
issues - of which the olympics (specifically the 2010 ones) are a
major
issue.
The whole issue relates to corporatism, capitalism, environmental
issues,
First Nations land issues, media propaganda, how our provincial gov't
spends our money, how the DTES is affected, etc.
I would suggest that anyone not wanting to know about the 2010
opposition
can self-censor (use the delete button). But in all fairness, I'd
request
that we aim for a general concensus about posting olympic stuff on
this
list.
Thoughts please, everyone?
Bella
