The No Games 2010 Coalition has discovered that the Vancouver Olympic 
Bid 
Corp. purchased the web domain www.nogames2010.com on December 17, 2002
on a 10 year contract.

The No Games 2010 Coalition's purchased our website 
(www.nogames2010.org) 
December 20, 2002 on a 1 year contract.

We question the veracity of the Bid Corporation's policy of openness 
and
transparency in light of this revelation. Under-handed tactics such as
this serve no other purpose than to diffuse and suppress the
democratic right of free speech. Now, more than ever, the Bid 
Corporation
must embrace the opposition, and cease their acts of repression and
alienation. The No Games 2010 Coalition must now be even more vigilant 
and
effective in their emphatic demands for balanced honest debate and
discussion from the truculent Vancouver/Whistler Bid Corporation.
