Party on!

Let's party in the schools and hospitals that have been closed. Let's 
party on people's dreams and hopes this government has destroyed. Let's
party real hardy on the bones of the suicides this government's cutbacks
have directly caused. So, if you're going to party, get honest; celebrate
the only thing one can count on from G. Campbell - lies and frivolity. 
Celebrate the only thing these people care about: their egos and the 
money a few will personally gain for themselves by taking advantage of
people's naivety.

To have that rewarded by the "Oympic" organization is a travesty and 
shows how far from Olympic ideals reality is. Under the NDP, without all
the drastic cuts and destruction that have been perpetrated on the
majority of BC citizens, maybe hosting an Olympics might have been
acceptable. Now it is nothing less than disgusting. This party and
expression of such joy is a slap in the face to all the people damaged by
government funding cuts; an insult to all the people who have been forced
to make the real sacrifices for his agenda; sacrifices Campbell and
chronies would never make for anyone.

So party on; celebrate sports and health. Celebrate money coming from 
lost disability benefits, celebrate money from the growing number of
hungry and homeless people; dance on the lives of women who can no longer
escape abusive relationships, feel your joy due to the  children and
parents who no longer get supports they need. Party away in gratitude to
all these people. Dance while the province deteriorates.

Celebrate, celebrate these Olymics and the selling of them, celebrate 
taking money that belongs to and should be going to help ALL our citizens 
first. Awarding the Olympics to Vancouver under the present circumstances 
is an insult to all the people whose lives have been irrevocably lost and 
damaged due to Campbell. Anyone who is proud of Vancouver getting the bid 
under the present circumstances and goes out to celebrate, either lives 
in a fantasy land and/or has no heart. This celebration will disgust
anyone who honestly understands and values the dignity of all people.

You still want to celebrate your selfishness?

Then at least be honest about it.
