[mobglob-discuss] what happened to your list moderator?

This is just one of the many gripes I have with moderated lists. When the
'moderator' decides to go AWOL, its everyone else who winds up paying for
it.
There's also the not inconsiderable matter of what's wrong with the idea
that someone's words must first pass through the filter of another person's
ego before being deemed suitable for broader distribution. As far as I'm
concerned this is little better than censorship.
If someone's behavior on a list is blatantly offensive, they can always be
removed. But this needn't involve anyone else and others shouldn't have to
face needless restrictions on their ordinary activities because of the
'possibility' someone might abuse the right.
