There are so much better things to vilify Gordo for, such as the fact that his
cuts *already have* killed people, that getting all high and mighty about this
will make us look pathetically partisan, not moral.

Who here has not either driven or ridden with a drunk driver? I want all of us
to quit our jobs. Do I mean this is okay? No. I mean that this is one of the
more humane things he has done for the last two years. We shouldn't lose sight
of this either. [I think he was probably with another woman, not his "friends"
as reported, but I'm not interested in hanging him over this either...].

Gordon Campbell should resign from the human race, not the provincial
government, for the murders his economic system have created. If Gordo crashes
and burns that's one thing. I'll enjoy it; I like the rest of us enjoyed
watching him get busted and hold no truck on this.

Whether or not the provincial government considers Clark to be their enemy
doesn't make him our friend. Under the "pro-labour" wing of the NDP (Clark,
McPhail et al) welfare and social services were set on the disastrously
anti-poor, and anti human course they are on with Campbell. Gordo has only
accelerated the decline, brought about by Clark in the first place.

Ujjal Dosanjh is an unindicted war criminal for his handling of the Sundancers
at the T'speten stand-off (Gustaffssen, possibly mis-spelled). Sending in the
military and firing thousands of rounds while systematically carrying out a
disinformation campaign. That's the last NDP premier.

Enough is enough. We need to be clear that yes, the Liberals are "bad". That
doesn't make their opponents "good".

Rank and file socialists who vote or work for the NDP are not the enemy, but
this "nice cop" bosses party leadership certainly is, no matter how good they
have been in practice for the better off sectors of the unionised workforce.

If we hadn't been allowing the NDP to kill us by a thousand little sliver-sized
cuts over the last few years we would be watching them turned into bleeding
gashes so easily now.

We need to stand firmly, without hesitation, for all members of our class. We
watched the squat sold out for cookies and milk. We said nothing because COPE
was involved. We cheered their election, but seldom jeer their sell-outs. The
image of seeing labour leaders try, however difficult, to organise union workers
as a power bloc in the interests of other workers is a dream that has never come
true, but I believe that dreams have to precede reality and I will forever speak
for the dream.
