Premier Campbell charged with drunk driving

Maui, Hawaii - B.C. Premier Gordon Campbell has been charged with drunk
driving while holidaying in Hawaii. 

Police on the island of Maui say Campbell was arrested at 1:23 a.m Friday
and charged. 

Campbell was holidaying in Maui at the time. 

A Maui police sergeant says the premier spent some time in jail before
posting bail. 

Campbell was released after posting bail of $257. 

He is scheduled to appear in court to face the charges on March 25. 

So far, there has been no comment from the premier's office.
