Subject: continued concern about Ralph Nader & Torrey
I direct a non-profit human rights group working for people
in the mental health system. Over the years, we have
complained many times to Ralph Nader about this issue.

Unfortunately, he still refers questions to E. Fuller Torrey
and the group Public Citizen that hires Torrey. Torrey is
one of the WORST psychiatrists in the world in terms of
promoting forced psychiatry. Torrey has made a whole
career of this, and directs an organization (Treatment
Advocacy Center) that is one of the main crusaders for
more and more forced psychiatry. Apparently Sydney
Wolfe at Public Citizen has made up his mind, and the
tiny self-appointed board at Public Citizen doesn't even
have a clue that Public Citizen, for example, has a joint
project with TAC.

We have tried over and over to engage with Ralph Nader
on this and he has refused.
