RE: NEWEST POLL ON THE VANCOUVER-WHISTLER OLYMPIC BID

NO GAMES 2010 Coalition is releasing the results of the most recent poll
on the Vancouver-Whistler Olympic Bid.

Oraclepoll Research Ltd. conducted a study asking people across BC to
comment on the following question:

"I would rather have my tax dollars spent on health care, education and
social services than on the Winter Olympics in Whistler and Vancouver in
2010".

The results of this poll were:
Strongly agree: 56.4%
Agree: 14.4%
Neither agree or disagree: 13.3%
Disagree: 6.4%
Strongly disagree: 5.5%

The poll was conducted with interviews of 528 voting age residents of
British Columbia from Feb 8 to Feb 15, 2003. The margin of error is
+/-4.3% 19/20 times.

The study sample was radomly selected using a modified method of "Random
Digit Dialing"

This overwhelming result reflects a much clearer picture of the public's
attitude to the Games, with 70.8% agreeing with the statement.

There was a strong consensus amongst all age groups, all occupations, all
income levels, and for both men and women.

For details of the methodology of the poll, contact Dr. Paul Seccaspina,
416-986-7937; email: inquiries at oraclepoll.com.
