F20: CBC Debate, Wosk Center for Dialogue (Hastings/Seymour). Mayor
Campbell, Chris Shaw, Adriane Carr and David Podmore. 7:30 - 9pm (audience
welcome)
F20: Vancouver 2010 Open House - Roundhouse Community Centre Great Hall
(181 Roundhouse Mews - beside BC Place Stadium) 3:00 - 7:00pm
(presentation at 4:00pm)
F20: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - Buildex Vancouver Conference/Media
Edge Communications Inc. 9:00am podium. (999 Canada Place) Vancouver 2010
Bid Vice President of Bid Development and Operations, Terry Wright, will
provide an overview and update the current plans in the bid process for
the 2010 Winter Games.
F20: Co-Op Radio 2pm, Mary Woo Sims interview with Joey Only of Oust the
Olympics.
F21: Colleen McCrory, BC Green Party Deputy Leader is going to be on Rafe
Mair (CKNW AM 980) on Friday morning Feb 21 10:00-10:30 am (call in show)
about the 2010 Olympics.
F22: Plebescite voting day - all Coalition members need to commit to
working this day for phone banks, polling station leafletting, etc. MARK
YOU CALENDARS !!
F22: Noon, in front of City Hall. Everyone is invited to a hackey sack
warm-up followed by street hockey. Wear your "NO" stuff, bring extra
hockey sticks to share. If you can't play, come cheer !!
F22: The "No" side will gather to await the vote count announcement.
Location TBA. All supporters, volunteers, organizers and Coalition members
are invited. The "Yes" side will gather at the Pan Pacific.
F23: CBC TV 7-9 pm (Chris Shaw and possibly Adriane Carr will be guests)
F23: GLOVES OFF! Oust the Olympics strategy meeting 1:30 - 5:30 in the
Britannia cafeteria. Bring your action ideas. Updates on legal, medic and
comm-center. If you have input but can't make the meeting, contact Joey at

F27: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce
8:00am Executive Plaza Hotel - 405 North Road, Coquitlam. Vancouver 2010
Bid Vice Chair, Don Calder, will update the current plans in the bid
process for the 2010 Winter Games.
F27: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - BC Building Envelope Council
Presentation at 12:40pm. Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre,
Parkview Terrace Room (999 Canada Place). David Podmore, will update the
current plans and activities in the bid process for the 2010 Winter Games.
This presentation will cover the proposed venues and infrastructure
requirements.
M2-6: "Gloves Off" campaign begins during the IOC visit (this time frame
will be broken down into segments by OUT-O as planning continues)

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS - GLOVES OFF CAMPAIGN
M2: (details coming). All "Gloves Off" participants and 'No' supporters
will meet at Granview Park for fun, sports and rally. After an hour or so,
we will march in solidarity to the unveiling of the Olympic Squat.
M5: No Olympics! Mobilization Against the 2010 Olympic Bid! 4pm rally at
the Art Gallery (Robson St. Side). March and Rally to Demand: 1) Immediate
End to the Disability Review Process, 2) Restore Funding to Social
Housing, 3) End the 3 Week Wait and Reverse Welfare Cuts, 4) No Olympics
on Stolen Native Land. For more info contact The Anti-Poverty Committee

More events will be posted after the Feb 23 strategy meeting (1:30 - 5:30
