sweetie to the prom.  And hey, if you don't have a date, there's no better

place to find one!

That's right folks, slip on yer fancy panties, put on yer dancing shoes,
and pretty yerselves up cuz it's time once again for the third annual

PEOPLE'S PROM
A fundraiser for an Olympic-free Vancouver
Valentines Day,
Friday, February 14th
@ the Church of Pointless Hysteria,(110 West Hastings). Across from
Woodwards
Doors open 9pm (Capacity is limited).
Cost is 6 bucks with Prom gear, 8 without.

Whether yer a people's prom veteran, or a new skool rookie, this year's 
prom promises to be the very best! Back with a vengeance will be the 
infamous kissing booth, with lots of cutie-pie grrls and boys to choose 
from (bring yer quarters).

You'll also have the opportunity to bring home the gold in the costume, 
dance and limbo competitions.

Plus, promsters will be able to take out their wrath on our Olympic torch 
pinata filled with tasty candies and condoms.

So come on out and bang your booties to the funky beats and classic 
tracks of our prettier than pink music makers:

and our guest hosts for the evening keepin' the house rockin' hard all 
night long:

Guests of the prom will also be the first in the city to get their dirty 
little paws on the very first issue of Vixen's Lair: a collection of 
cunt-driven fantasy and erotica brought to you by Screaming Cunt Press.

Oh and did I mention there'll be cheap beer, and super spiked fruity 
punch.

So fuck Hallmark, and celebrate Valentines day the East Van way, come get 
trashed at the People's Prom!

  Olympics-free Vancouver.***

If you or your group is working in opposition to the Olympic bid, we
encourage you to apply to the People's Trust Fund.  Everyone and anyone 
is eligible.  The People's Trust Fund is a small wad of cash generated
from the People's Prom and is intended to fund creative project(s) that
spread awareness and inspire resistance.
