On February 27, 2003 Vancouver City Council unanimously passed a motion confirming their participation in Practicing Democracy, a Legislative Theatre project that will be in performance March of 2004. Headlines Theatre will work with people in the effected communities (see below) to create interactive Forum plays on two topics. The audience interventions in the theatre events will form the basis of a report back to City Council that suggests new or revised law on the issues under discussion.

___ 2. The relationship between youth and the police.
___ 3. How can a Ward System work? In a "ward system" the elected person represents a neighbourhood instead of the entire City. What are the human mechanisms necessary to help make this work?
___ 4. Seniors and the City Seniors are expressing fear about venturing out into the city and when they do, find difficulty accessing many services. What can the City do?
