Protest U.S. and Israel's War of Aggression

Demonstrations will be held around the world on this weekend to
commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sabra & Shatilla massacre in
Lebanon, and to denounce the current Israeli occupation and repression.
The Vancouver rally will also protest the current U.S. drive for a new war
against Iraq.

During the September 1982 Massacre of Sabra and Shatilla, in Beirut
Lebanon, at the hands of Ariel Sharon, approximately two thousand innocent
Palestinian and Lebanese men, women and children were killed in the
refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla in Beirut. These massacres were
financed and supported by Israel whose military surrounded the camps and
occupied Beirut at the time.

During the last two years, Ariel Sharon and Israeli Apartheid policies
have killed over 2000 innocent men, women, and children and injured over
20,000 Palestinians, two thirds of whom are children under the age of
eighteen.
