National Speaking Tour by Nigerian Activist: "The Struggle against Poverty
and Neo-colonialism in Africa"

Segun Olagoke Aderemi, a leading labor and civil rights activist in Nigeria,
is on a speaking tour across the US. He is a prominent political figure in
Nigeria, often interviewed on TV and quoted in the press. He is General
Secretary of the Democratic Socialist Movement, Chairperson of the Lagos
State Chapter of the National Conscience Party, and Legal Advisor to the
Campaign for Independent Unionism.

Segun will be in Seattle at the end of September/early October when it will
be possible to bring him up to Vancouver as part of the tour if there are
people in Vancouver willing to organise a venue and promote a meeting. I'm
wondering if Mob4Glob or another group (or several groups?) would be willing
to help organise a meeting? If so please email me at andylehrer at sympatico.ca

Thanks,

Andy
