On Halloween, starting at noon at Victory Square and moving to Harbour
Centre for teach-ins at Free Skool, will be an anti FTAA demonstration.

The reason for this day is simple. The FTAA will hurt us all, from the
South to the North, in the Americas (and the Caribbean). In Quito,
Ecuador a new round of talks about things like water, schools, health
care and union rights (along with pretty much all forms of social
spending and public utility) going onto the tables for sale to the
highest bidder will take place on Halloween.

We are planning to mask up and show our solidarity with the
demonstrations going on across the entire Western Hemisphere. It's
Halloween and your costume is expected.

We are part of the continent wide Solidarity Network to Stop the FTAA.

We are meeting to plan the little, itty bitty details about all of this
at 6pm Harbour Centre every Thurday night until Halloween.

We want your group(s) to endorse the event.
We want your money.
But most importantly, we want your body and we want your help.
Come out, get involved and let's have a lot of fun wearing masks on
Halloween.
