Dear Friend, 

Over the last few months, Yahoo! has been embroiled
in a protracted public dispute over its choice to retain
a cleaning contractor which is facing a variety of
serious legal charges. The contractor pays poverty
wages with no health benefits and has reportedly been
using illegal tactics to keep janitors from forming
a union. 

With public mistrust of corporations soaring and the
economy slumping, our community needs good corporate
citizens who not only respect the law but ensure that
the janitors who clean their buildings are paid enough
to raise a family and have affordable family health
benefits.
