UTS’AM WITNESS PROJECT BENEFIT EVENING
VISIONS OF A CHANGING PLANET

On Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre,
local artist, musician and photographer Shel Neufeld will perform a
multimedia show with his original acoustic guitar music and projected
photographs for the Uts’am Witness Project. Members of the Squamish
Nation will open the show with traditional songs and drumming. Local
videographer Jeremy Sean Williams will screen his video documentary
about the Witness Project.

Shel Neufeld’s show will include over 200 images ranging from
communities working for positive change to threatened wilderness areas
to vibrant nature images. For an evening of ceremony, music, and visual
arts, celebrating the start of the 2002 Witness camping weekends, come
