Carole Leigh isn't one of the members of the Lusty Lady union as I had
been led to believe. She is more of an expert on the prostitution side
of the sex trade business, and a longtime fighter for women's rights.
She is also a friend of Julia Query, the star of the film. Sorry about
any misunderstandings this may have caused, but Carole is a courageous
sister nonetheless, and this is still a rare opportunity to hear her
speak.

Carole Leigh, labour and social activist, and a member and organizer of
the only unionized strip club in North America, is flying up to
Vancouver from San Francisco to talk to us here about their struggle to
organize, and to screen their film Live Nude Girls UNITE.

This is a rare opportunity to hear this courageous sister speak to us
about what was a very difficult and even dangerous battle to end the
severe harassment and exploitation in their workplace.

Carole will be speaking in Vancouver this Friday, May 10th, 6 PM, at SFU
Harbour Centre (515 W. Hastings). Entrance is by donation (suggested $5
to $20) to help pay for Carole's expenses in coming here. This event is
