Subject:  Mad Pride Fest in Vancouver, BC

So, another Mad Pride week is set to begin next week; we're actually
having events
over two weeks. Some of us will be marching in the cannabis day parade
but events
organized by the Network will begin on Tuesday evening at my co-op with
an
Embodied Non-Violence workshop. Then Thursday at Video In two films:
"Song for
my Father" (15 mins) and a feature length film called "King of Hearts" -
apparently
vintage madness. Also that evening a craft sale. One Friday, the Gallery
Gachet is
providing the space for the poetry night/open mike and performance.
The following Saturday, June 13 we are holding a Mad Hatter's Ball at a
new night
club opened by allies - Here on Earth, with a band also donated. We're
springing for
a buffet snack. And on Sunday, the international Mad PRide Day  we are
having an
impromptu picnic in Guelph part (8th and Brunswick) near Kingsgate Mall.
Bring own
picnic and musical instruments and foot balls. All survivors and
friends, consumers and allies welcome.
