Subscribers, Here's another bus option for getting on the road to Alberta,
particularly if you are a CFS member.
Cheers, -tc @ the douglas college library

Subject: Bus to g8 summit
Hi Tom,
I can't remember if I emailed this to you or not....I need to send a
list of names to the CFS office by Wednesday p.m., so if you or others
wish to sign up for the bus, let me know!!!!
Thanks,
Yasmin
------Original message------
Hi everyone,
If I've already contacted you about the bus, please disregard this
message! The deadline for reserving seats on the G8 bus is fast
approaching, so if anyone is interested, please submit names and contact
info to me by Monday, June 10 at the very latest!!!!!
30 seats have been reserved for CFS members at a cost of $45 per ticket,
and 5 to 10 have been reserved for the Douglas Students' Union. Tickets
will be purchased from the provincial office, but folks will have to
sign waivers!!! There is a possibility that we'll be able to subsidize
tickets for Douglas students.
The bus will depart from the Twassassen ferry terminal at 9am on June 22
and returns June 28 (most likely by evening). Students will be
responsible for finding their own accomodation in Calgary, as the
Solidarity Village campground has been denied. For information on
billeting, students can email victoriag8buses at lycos.com . For more
information about events planned around the G8 in Calgary, visit
www.peaceandhumanrights.org or www.g8activist.ca .
Thanks!
Yasmin
