PARAGUAY-police shoot privatization protesters (english)

A Paraguayan man lies bleeding from a gunshot wound to the head after
police shot at demonstrators to break up the protest, in Coronel Oviedo
130 kilometers from Asuncion, June 4, 2002. Two people were shot as some
5,000 residents of this city and surrounding villages demonstrated
against the government's plans to privatize state companies.
