This date should read June 27, not 28.

The numbers for the 'No One Is Illegal' march in Ottawa were actually 
closer to 6,000 (The 4,000 figure was the corporate media/police estimate) 
despite the thunder, pelting rain and almost constant petty BS courtesy of 
the various gendarmerie in attendance, including Ottawa/Carleton Police, 
Gatineau, RCMP, Sureté Du Quebec (Hey, what happened to jurisdictional 
boundaries, guys..................?) OPP and CSIS.  Nice move by the Black 
Bloc, who rescued the sound van when the cops tried to tow the thing just 
before the march started.  Great energy and solidarity, even with the many 
instances of tired feet and the generally soggy nature of the event.
