hi Danielle,
I received your messages as part of the Cinema Politica chapter in London;
I have been coordinating with the group that is screening your film (and
one other) on February 25, at the University of Western Ontario. I am
coping here the campus contacts who are helping to promote this screening:
Kristin, Palmer and Christopher can let you know about promotion materials,
posters etc. (side question: do we or will be have a FB "event" to promote?)
I am also CC-ing Leila, our contact with NOII London (a group that has been
dormant for some time, but is becoming more active again following the
"Refugees Welcome" actions in the fall). Having some NOII materials
available at this event is a great idea. I often refer people to
neverhome.ca for further reading / learning, but  if you have other
suggestions, we're all ears. Thanks for getting in touch, and for your film

Hello CP London,
I'm Danielle, one of the creators of the documentary, In the Shadow of
Borders, and I was told by CP in Montreal that you'd be screening it this
month. I hope I haven't missed it!
I was wondering if you could let me know the when and where of the
screening (so I can help promo and share with friends) and I was also
wondering if you are in touch with any migrant justice groups in your area
like No one is illegal? I was thinking the screening might be a great place
for some pop ed. materials to be shared or a place to mobilize around the
issue with groups working with migrants, or people who could facilitate a
discussion after the film. Let me know if I should try to put people in
touch with you or share the screening in those networks.
I am really happy you are showing the film. I hope you enjoy it!
