[Migrantjusticedocumentary] some thoughts

Hey everyone,

I know it's February and the air is rank with all the winter blues
associated with this month as well as the fact that the JV project we
'signed up for' was supposed to wrap up by the end of the month. I'm sure
that, like me, you all are excited to get this finished up and move on to
other projects and are feeling the strain.  However, I just wanted to ask
for everyone's extra help for the next month or so to finish this
documentary.

I know that when Aaron left, I volunteered to take on the JV bureaucratic
responsibilities and fill in for most of the coordination and I know that
consequently I have taken up a lot of space 'directing' and moving this
project along. Unfortunately, now I'm feeling increasingly overwhelmed and
alone with the work that still lies before us. In no way do I feel capable
to edit and put together a rough cut mostly on my own, nor do I think that
I alone should feel responsible for accomplishing these tasks and finishing
the project as soon as possible.

That said I'm sure everyone wants to see this finished and wants a video
that we can be happy with, or dare I say proud of, at the end of all this.
Just right now, I'm feeling there are less of us ready to do what it takes
to reach this 'goal' and I'm not sure how to facilitate this process or if
it's even my role.

I really hope we can meet up this Thursday at 1pm (I think that was the
best time from all the emails, or was it Friday?) to further plan out our
'script', rework our timeline and 'work schedules' and see if we can begin
to rectify how I'm feeling regarding responsibility.
