I'm good meeting monday the 30th any time, but not this tuesday ... i'm not
free til after 2pm (and i'll be in my neighbourhood). We just need to meet
before friday the 4th, as i need to give stuff to JV. (and i'll need to see
you, Aaron, too before then for bank and finances etc.).
So can everyone else decide for our meeting? I'm free all next week except
from 8am to 3ish tuesday the 1st and i have the JV meeting friday at 10h30.
what do you all say?

Cette manifestation et assemblée publique auront lieu au moment de la
rencontre de la Commission scolaire de Montréal qui se tiendra à l'école
Barthélémy-Vimont de Parc-Extension.

Le gouvernement du Québec refuse toujours d'accorder un plein accès aux
écoles primaires et secondaires aux enfants sans-papiers. Plusieurs
semaines après la rentrée, le Collectif éducation sans frontières a été en
lien avec plusieurs familles dont les enfants se sont vu refuser l'accès à
l'école, ou à qui on a demandé des frais de scolarité de plusieurs milliers
de dollars.

La manifestation exigera à nouveau de la Commission scolaire de Montréal
qu'elle use de son pouvoir discrétionnaire pour permettre un accès complet
aux écoles aux enfants sans-papiers, et qu'elle cesse de charger des frais
de scolarité aux parents.

Plus encore, la manifestation prendra la forme d'une assemblée publique,
afin de discuter de stratégies et tactiques pour augmenter la pression sur
le gouvernement du Québec, et en particulier la ministre de l'Éducation,
Mme Marie Malavoy.

Demonstration & Public Assembly
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 6:30pm-9pm
at École Barthélemy-Vimont
415 St-Roch, in Parc Extension

This demonstration and public assembly will take place during the next
meeting of the Commission scolaire de Montréal which will be at the École
Barthélemy-Vimont in Parc Extension.

The Quebec government still refuses to allow full access to primary and
secondary schools to non-status children. Already weeks after the first day
of classes, the Collectif éducation sans frontières has been in touch with
many families whose children have either been denied access to school, or
who are being asked to pay thousands of dollars in tuition fees.

This demonstration will again urge the Commission scolaire de Montréal to
exercise its discretionary powers to provide full access to schools for
non-status kids, and to stop billing parents for tuition.

More importantly, this demonstration will also take the form of a public
assembly, so that we can discuss together strategies and tactics to
escalate the pressure on the Quebec government, particularly Minister of
Education Marie Malavoy.

We encourage as many allies as possible to attend, so we can plan together
future steps in the Education For All campaign, part of building a
Solidarity City in Montreal. Please confirm if you are able to attend the
