[Migrantjusticedocumentary] Storyboarding ideas

hi folks,
so just to share a few basic ideas before your meeting with SAB tomorrow, i
started to draw out a basic story board for a solidarity city video this
summer, but i didn't get that far.

but basically, i don't think it would be very complicated to make at all.
amy probably has way better ideas about how to story-board this than i do,
but here is what my basic plan would be:

i think to make the video, you only need to do maybe 2-3 interviews with
different SAB organizers about what a solidarity city is. and then there
should be 1-2 interviews with "directly-affected" undocumented people who
can give personal testimonies about why a solidarity city would be
important.

then it's just a question of cutting these interviews together with plenty
of b-roll that we built up over the last few months. we have great b-roll
from:

-demos at the commission scolaire
-the anti-migrant prison demo
-the status for all march
-the toronto mayday demo
-IWC events

probably much more that i can't remember now, but it's all labelled clearly
on the hard drive.

like i said before at the last meeting i was at in late-august, my
recommendation would be to set aside at least $1000 in the budget, and pay
someone to edit the video.

depending on when the editing/story planning happens, i would like to come
sit in on it.

rock on,
aaron
