hi guys,
so i only got bios from cera and cat, so i made up bios for everyone else.
this is for our initial outreach callout, which i'd like to get finished by
the end of the week. so can everyone look this over and suggest changes to
your bio if you want?

also, i've made a shared folder in Google drive called Jeunes Volontaires
where we can store documents and collaborate on stuff.

Who we are:

Aaron Lakoff - Aaron Lakoff is a DJ, community organizer, and independent
journalist who is attempting to map the constellations between reggae, soul
music, and a world without bosses or borders. He is a member of Solidarity
Across Borders in Montreal, and a long-time member of the CKUT community
radio news collective.

Cat Kendler - Cat has been involved in social justice activism since she
came to Montreal eight years ago primarily through her work as a translator
of educational materials, a board member at QPIRG Concordia, and a
participant of several environmental and media-related community projects.
She has also participated in indigenous rights, food sovereignty, and
popular education movements in Mexico, Nicaragua, and Colombia.

Cera Yiu -  Cera is a Chinese Canadian anarchist from Southern Ontario.
Since moving to Montreal, she has been involved with No One Is Illegal,
Status for All organizing, QPIRG Concordia, and the Midnight Kitchen. Her
interests include popular education, social media, Anarchist People of
Colour organizing, high fashion, and working towards a world without
nations or borders.

Danielle Holyk - Danielle has over a decade of experience in various
grassroots social justice movements in Montreal. As an anti-gentrification
activist, she is involved in the housing committee for the Petite Patrie
neighborhood. She is also an organizer with the Anti-Capitalist Convergence
(CLAC), and was heavily involved in the Quebec student strike of 2012.

Otto Buxton - Otto is a collective member of the Midnight Kitchen, a
radical food collective at McGill University, and has a deep interest in
oral histories and social movements.

Bader Takriti - Bader is a first generation Palestinian activist who has
worked for years building the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS)
movement against Israeli apartheid. He is a member of the Tadamon
collective, and an organizer of Israeli Apartheid Week Montreal. He is
currently volunteering with the 2110 Centre for Gender Advocacy at
Concordia University.

Maddie Ritts - Maddie is a former board member of the Quebec Public
Interest Research Group (QPIRG) at McGill university, and is active around
many issues relating to gender justice and Palestinian solidarity.
