*6- 8PM: Proof of Residency: Contemporary Ways of Mapping the Body, *Evergreen,

Proof of Residency is an installation that illuminates and investigates
contemporary ways of mapping bodies derived from medical technologies, forms
of legal identification and cultural practices of embodiment. The driving
forces behind my work lay in a series of questions about the
interconnectedness of form and content; the different kinds of locators we
use to situate and specify our bodies and the ways that theory and power get
inscribed onto them.
*6- 8PM: Help Create the Vision of a Trail to Old Brewhouse, *Urban Onion,
116 Legion Way,
Be part of the vision: imagine a short ride from the State Capitol to the
redeveloped Old Brewhouse at the base of Tumwater falls!  The City of
Olympia has won a grant to plan this route.  Join us at this joint meeting
of Woodland Trail Greenway Association and Friends of the Old Brewhouse to
get in on the ground floor of this historic opportunity!
*6- 9PM: Two Spirit Film screening and discussion, *Evergreen, Lecture Hall

Film and Discussion on Native American sexuality, spirituality, gender and
identity. This is an Indigenous space! The intention of this film is to "put
on an indigenous lens" and use the film as a tool to add understanding of
Native American spirituality, sexuality and gender.

Before Tennessee Williams, before George Bernard Shaw, before Shakespeare,
there was an ancient land known to us now as Greece. In this land, plays
were staged, plays of such magnitude and societal import that they are still
staged to this very day. Also playing on Saturday, June 4, 2:30 pm, Sunday,
June 5, 2:30 pm. $5 for students, $10 for the general public.

*9:30AM- ALL WEEKEND: Fabricated Realities - A Story Game
Convention,*Procession of the Species Studio, 311 1/2 Capitol Way N
Art Kitchen presents Olympia’s first ever story gaming convention running
June 3rd through 5th at The Procession of the Species Studio. The studio has
been transformed by local artists into a collection of fantastic
environments that the gaming tables are located within, including a floating
castle, a crystal cavern, outer space, a post-apocalyptic cafe, a dark
forest, and more!  Full Passes cost $35 and are available online at
fabricatedrealities.com and at The Danger Room. Day passes are $13 and will
be sold at the door on an as-available basis. Ends Sunday, 11:30PM.

512 Washington St SE, It’s HONK! The award-winning family musical based on
the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, “The Ugly Duckling”. Featuring a
cast of hilarious farmyard characters from Ugly’s ducky family, to the local
chickens, to the turkey schoolmaster, to the conniving feline villain, and

Dance Oly Dance, Olympia’s local dance TV show, invites you to yet another

Did you know that downtown Olympia doubled in size with dredging and fill
starting 100 years ago when the city grew by 29 blocks? Help mark out the
historic shoreline and learn about downtown history and Budd Inlet with
historians Shanna Stevenson, Ed Echtle, Drew Crooks and members of the
Olympia Historical Society and Bigelow House Museum.

down the street, from 6 - 8.  Now that our state government has made it
clear that while they are willing to spend tax dollars supporting wealthy
individuals and corporations, but not the basic needs of Washington
citizens, we need to come together as a community and plan.
