Howdy there friends, welcome, come on in to the Working Class Cafe, there
isn’t a live show like it in Vancouver some say. We’re a free show for
poor folk, we’re radical and we’re political, we’re out there getting in
the middle. We gots singers and we gots talkers, we gots bluegrass
radical folk rockers, our next show is a total whopper! What else have
you got to do, we’ll challenge and entertain you before the night is
through. If you gotta a job then quit, if yer in jail, break out!!! If
you have a Valentine, makeout!!!

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Nicole Storms and Kym Hothead
-Nicole Storms is a Mohawk of the Bay of Quinte near Belleville Ontario.
She is an organizer with the highly successful Tenant Action Group. TAG
is being heavilly targetted by landlords, cops and other scumbags for
endlessly fighting evictions. TAG has also won welfare cases, squatted
buildings, and stopped over 1000 hydro cut-offs over its three years in
Belleville, a town of just 50,000.

-Kym Hothead was a co-founder of the Disability Coalition to Stop the
Cuts. In the spring of 2003 the BC Liberals threatened to cut 9,000
people off Disability. They changed the qualifications to be on DBII and
made 14,000 people re-apply through a complicated process, due to public
outcry over numerous suicides the Liberals backed down at the last minute.
Kym is now preparing for the Window Pain Art Show this May featuring the
art of Disability Recipients targetted by this cruel government.

FEATURING: Altona Manitoba.
-A trainhopping young anarcho-hillbilly, banjo strumming loudly, bluegrass
crooning, dreadlocked, mulletted, profoundly anti-capitalist and
interesting!! If Magnolia comes a fiddling and Joey doesn’t walk, the Hot
Footed Haints street band will be there to rock!

HOST: Joey Only.
-Organizer, writer, artist, adventurer, maniac. Songwriter of militant
working class bluegrass. Probably the least interesting person in the
world.

AND MORE, MANY MORE, WE ALWAYS HAVE WAY MORE IN STORE FOR THE POOR!!!!
IT’S FREE AT THE DOOR OF COURSE!!!
