and now for a poem...
‘I smashed my face, I smashed my face,
blood splashed and spilled all over the place,
beside my eye a mighty gash,
across my cheek bad road rash,
a chunk of chin clung hung fast,
blood was pouring on my pants,
it was hard to stand so I staggered and danced
while I looked at the cuts on my hands,
then cussed and shouted ‘god damn’.
