Hi all
Thanks Marieke for being in touch about this - sorry i didn't respond
sooner.
As much as I wish I were, I'm not interested in doing any projects with Masc
this summer. I still care about these issue a lot, so don't count me as
permanently out for the count, I'm just going about addressing these issues
in different ways right now.
If folks are intersted in working on a mental health related project, there
are folks looking to plan a forum on radical mental health/politicized
support; you could get in touch with Zoe Page for more details:
zmadpage at yahoo.com
I think it would be a good idea to un-working-group ourselves. What do
others think?
Finally, I think it's important to recognize that even if this group
doesn't/hasn't crystallized in the way people had hoped, it's not a failure
by any means. Speaking for myself, I think I've clarified the ways in which
I want to frame radical mental health issues, and have a better
understanding of different ways to go about addressing them, on a long term
timeline.
Take care everyone,
-Tessa
