WoowoWowowowow! Thank you for applying to Decapital!
Oh. my. god. We are so incredibly impressed by the applications that we
received. Every single one is awesome!

First, we want to tell you a little bit about the projects and people who
applied. We had 113 applications from more than six different countries and
all across North America. Most applications were from the the US and Canada.

We had a wide range of applications, but there are definitely some common
themes. There are a handful of projects that are infoshops, community
spaces, art spaces, and organizing hubs that are looking for material
support to pay for supplies to build their spaces or to rent or buy space.
Podcasters, video producers, bloggers, diy journalists, and others who make
media applied. Some were radical political media makers, some artists, some
human rights advocates. Some other prominent themes include farming and
food-justice, DIY, indigenous people’s rights, and, of course, resisting
Trump’s reign of hate.

We’re currently hard at work carefully reviewing the applications. There
were so many good submissions - we wish we could fund them all! We’ll be in
touch again soon.
We will be announcing the recipient(s) very soon so stay tuned!
