> No Pipelines Action Training!

> On April 4,5, and 6th Rising Tide Vancouver Coast Salish Territories is organizing a convergence weekend called No Pipelines!: Action Training for Climate Justice in Vancouver BC, unceded Coast Salish Territories. This weekend of mass movement trainings, education, and affinity building will better prepare our communities to take direct action against the numerous projects which threaten us and help to develop and realise our power when working together.

> The weekend includes over a dozen workshops and trainings, honoured speakers forums, poetry, live music, film, and two large collective meals. But to pull this off we NEED your help!

> We are calling for volunteers to help with the weekend. We need help with child care, meals, setting up/cleaning spaces, driving, and first aid. On both Friday and Sunday evenings we need 4-6 committed people to help with meal organization, serving, and clean up and another 4-6 to help with organizing the spaces. On Saturday and Sunday we need three folks who can help with lunch. We will also need a large number of people willing to volunteer for childcare! The shifts are about 3 hours long, with 2-3 people minding the kiddos together per shift. There will be engaging and child-directed programming, and we'd love more ideas for activities. Here's your chance to meet some rad kids! Please let Kat know if you can help out with child care: katilda00 at gmail.com

> Throughout the weekend we will need help with changing the layout/use of spaces, and also need some folks around who know first aid. In between workshops, we could also use help with drivers for shuttles. In total we are asking for around 30 volunteers who can commit to help with the training. Lastly, we are requesting help with hosting those from out of town travelling to the training. If you can offer a couch, bed, floor, or other space, that is greatly needed and appreciated. Please contact Cody if you can help out with any non child-care volunteering or billeting: codykolenchuk at gmail.com

> Rising Tide is a volunteer run collective. We organize out of living rooms and coffee shops and rely on community support to organize events and actions. If you would like more details about locations and specific times or tasks, or can commit to a shift in any of the above capacities please reply before Friday the 28th to help us plan this all out. If you can poster your neighbourhood, campus, or workplace let us know and we'll send you our posters.
