Hi all,
I've taken a Facebook chat with Peter, from Rising Tide, and made it into a
bit of an invite, so you guys can read it over and we can decide if we
want/can participate in this.
I was personally planning on just going to the workshops, but this would be
a bit of a better opportunity to present what we're doing and sort of build
our own understanding of the connections of trade to other struggles, etc.
Take a look and let's have some email conversation until we meet next time,
which btw will be Tuesday, March 18 @ the Heartwood Cafe (perfect timing to
send a final confirmation if we haven't agreed by email!).
See you all soon!

Hello Jan. 1st Collective,
Would someone form your collective be interested on being on a
intersectional anti-capitalism panel at the april training we are
organizing?
We are aiming to having a housing/anti-poverty, migrant justice, and trade
agreements person at this, and you don't need to feel restricted to talking
only about trade.
Stephen Collins (poet and professor of contemporary literature at Simon
Fraser University) is organizing it, so he has more of an idea in his head.
It would be great to know your availability, ideally by march 18th. This
panel would most likely be 2 hours on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, 5/6th
of April.
Thanks,
Rising Tide Vancouver
