We are contacting you today as a representative of a Canadian civil society organization to share with you this urgent call from Richard Elliott at the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network for support in protecting access to medicines for Canadians and citizens across the world. The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement is in its final stages of negotiation underway now in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Canadian voices are needed to demand a Canadian negotiating position that protects public health above pharmaceutical profits. We encourage you to read the attached document prepared by Mr. Elliot and to respond by end of day today if your organization will support the text of the statement.
