[Januaryfirst] Leaflet

Thanks, Gil.

I'm out of town for this weekend (til monday), but would be around for a Wednesday meeting and/or leafletting. I will also run off a batch of posters and will poster the Drive (and elsewhere) this coming week as well.

As for speakers, I don't think there is any need to panic. Cease is confirmed, and we have people within our circle who can speak poignantly to the topic (excluding myself). Remember, this is an event where we hope to broaden popular understanding of the issues in preparation for the Jan 1st event and beyond. So it's part of an ongoing movement.

The key at this point (it seems to me) is to get the word out, and work as much as possible in outreaching for the event. We have the poster and leaflet, so just need to get it out there.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents worth. I'm available for a wednesday meeting & action. Maybe we can meet and then leaflet or leaflet and then meet. Either way, I"m there.

I also took the liberty of emailing Mark Leier just now, in case nobody has done it... I mentioned somebody else may have tho, just in case I jumped the gun! haha

Even the powerful music and message of Rage Against the Machine seems like ancient history!

Two decades of FTAs have also meant two decades of resistance.
