And apologies for missing your gig on Saturday, James.... was wanting to
be there but you know...

Anyway, a bit of the shit that we discussed:

1. No feed back from the Evolver people yet, but Andreas will try and
get in touch again.

2. RRFM: Please, no wind next time, ok? Seriously though, Cape Town /
Muizenberg's wind gets a bit better after January, so we should be in
luck. So:

a) Production: We'd like to see more activities, not just people
bringing stuff. People exchanging stuff don't "connect" very much, but
activities can draw people in (like Meghan's art stuff, James & co's
music, the volcano). Then the RRFM can be a space to produce stuff (not
necessarily material stuff - also ideas, memories, relationships between
people)

b) Info: need to produce more info for people - maybe have a RRFM "info
desk" at the next market.

c) Zine: we could have an "In Your Face" zine that we distribute at the
RRFM to spread ideas / experiences.

d) Register: next time we need to remember to make a register for those
who attend

e) Shelter from the elements: Let people know we're looking for tents
and shelters of all kinds. Also there's a venue in Vrygrond (the Pink
Church) which is available for cheap (R 50 or so) and comes with parking
 too. And from March-ish there should be a community centre in Vrygrond
we could use too.

f) Date: If we hear from the Evolver people we can do something with
them, else aim for the 7th of Feb as the next RRFM.

3. Future Vrygrond Dance Group - Talent show: Lettie mentioned that they
want to hold a Talent Show / Fundraiser at the end of Feb and are
looking for judges for this. This will involve dance, acting, poetry and
singing.

4. Computer project in Vrygrond: Via one of Lettie's comrades there's
apparently a big computer donation heading Vrygrond way. She's looking
for people to help set them up and teach skills - we await further details.

Next meeting: Sunday 24th Jan - Mandy's house.

P.S. apols for being a bit grumpy this Sunday... I was a bit stressed
out about bills to pay and other capitalistoid rubbish.
