[Iyf-ct] collaboration with Evolver?

I agree - the hippie mysticism is dubious and tedious. Maybe I should suggest that they can participate in and contribute to the RRFM in whatever way they like (movie screenings will be a challenge...) and if they want to they can invite us to their meetings...

Are we all up for Sun 13 as the date for the next RRFM? I'm in. Do we need to meet beforehand? What would/could/should we be doing differently ar plan for the next edition?

Sounds good, i mean, if they want to get involved in the market in a definite way we're not gonna argue. Also could be interesting attending a meeting with them if we can... despite the mysticism/hippie-folk lore element i'm witnessing on the website :)

Hi Andreas, I am the organiser of a group in Cape Town called Evolver -
part of a worldwide network of "spores" (check out www.evolver.net)
that meet monthly to discuss / experience various topics / themes. I
was at the market on Sunday, it was a great experience in many ways,
thanks! but the main reason I am getting in touch with you directly is
that our theme for January is "Living in the Gift: Gift Economies" - I
often try to collaborate with other groups to keep each of our meetings
different and fresh, and to open up new synergistic possibilities, and
was wondering if you would like to talk about joining forces in January
- perhaps combining a market with movie clip screenings and/or talks
and/or group discussions? Let me know what you think - I look forward
to hearing from you :-)
