Yo
I agree fullheartedly. I think we could not and should not merge too much
with things esp if they are making money for a small group of artists in the
name of creativity. it's a bit irritating to say the least...but never the
less i wont be so hostile as to tell them to abolish themselves - peter you
can do that, i'll just hide behind a tree with a video camera and cackle
over the footage later ;)
mznbrg is a tricky area because almost everyone there seems to be that way
inclined, more info is a grea idea. we suggested bringing out some sort of
standard pamphlet with all the info on it. maybe this should be a bit of a
zene?
i also feel a little edgy with the swap n grab thing going on, but i think
people will get the hang of it. esp with some guidance as to what it is we
are trying to achieve here. we will see how this one turnes out, but a step
away from everyone just bringing stuff to give away would be good. i think
everyone enjoyed the market, but did become a little vulturesk towards the
end, and feeling like they scored big time as opposed to shared a day with
their community etc.
again it is something that should be created by the people as well, and
these things take time to form, not all of them have the same books in their
houses as some of us do., so the idea would be to get information to them to
take home and figure out for themselves...?
fuck. i owe someone money for my nope shirt. so sorry...thats horrible!
i'll bring it on sunday...shit...
