lieu of the event on March 8th and is still requesting funding. I thought

Dear CUPE 3906,


   I am writing on behalf of the Women's Coordinating Committee for a Free
Wallmapu [Toronto] regarding a funding request for our upcoming event,
"WOMEN: Don't Grease Your Chains... Break Them!" This year we have the
honour of presenting a representative from the Landless Workers
Movement, *Movimento
dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra* (MST) in Portuguese directly from
Brazil on a cross North American speaking tour, and will be showcasing the
documentary short, *Distopia 021: City, Segregation and Spectacle. *We will
also be screening the Mapuche indigenous feminist documentary, E*yes of a
Woman: Glance of the Earth*, filmed and directed by Mapuche Warrior Moira
Millan.

  The event will be held in Toronto on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 at 7PM at
Harvest Noon (GSU - University of Toronto), 16 Bancroft Avenue. We have
received support from your organization in the past and hope this will
continue. Please let us know about possible funding as soon as soon as
possible. Thank you so much in advance.
