Sunday at 7pm is good for me. Finding a space to meet might be a challenge though, except WAIT! We have a social space now. We can meet in The Tower at 281 Cannon E!

Hi folks:
Thanks for pulling together another meeting. Looking forward to it. I'm not opposed to a Sunday evening meeting at all. Maybe at 7:00? I am also okay Thursday morning or evening, but will also be tied up doing May Day stuff during the day. Unfortunately I can't do May 3rd. My plan is to head to Ottawa for the week-end to visit family that week-end. 

I think May 15th is a very doable date for the next workshop and don't mind working toward that date to hold it. Maybe we could call John to have a conversation prior to the workshop just to talk mechanics and whatnot, give him a sense of what he's walking into and maybe get a sense of what he would like to talk about? What do others think?

I'm working on Sunday 5:30, but would be available to meet after 6pm (unless another group schedules me first). The thursday after that marguerite suggested is May Day, so we could try meeting in the early morning or in the evening, but there will be lotsa stuff going on through the day. 


How about the evening of Saturday the 3rd, at like 7pm? We could move on nailing down a date and time for John before then, and hopefully even have an announcement drafted. Want to do the workshop on May 15th in the evening?

Oh dang, I didn't see this until now since I was in a tizzy marking exams and preparing for the talk yesterday and the day before. Thanks for the positive feedback, though! The talk went well, a bunch of people came and the CIC liked the "non knee-jerk" perspective. They asked me to write something for their website on it too (so there could be more pointed criticisms of Harper's foreign policy for domestic consumption coming out of an organization that is normally pretty reserved about that kind of thing). 



As for meeting up, I am away this Sunday too but next Thursday would work for me since that's one date Jess put out there.

Excellent article, Marguerite, thanks for sharing. And thanks for sending, Peter. I believe she is speaking about the crisis this Tuesday if I'm not mistaken, but not sure about when or where. I'll find out tomorrow. Maybe Marguerite can help us out?
