Hello,

I hope this email finds you well today. The McMaster First Nations Students
Association is excitedly in the midst of planning our events and activities
for the upcoming year and is organizing and hosting another Welcoming
Powwow for
Thursday September 26th, 2013. This educational and welcoming Powwow is now
in its fifth year, and is certainly our favourite event of the school year.
We feel this is a wonderful event for the university community as it
promotes not only Indigenous cultures but also the sponsoring bodies,
fostering an atmosphere of support and acceptance across campus.  It is our
hope, that this is an event that helps welcome and unify the Indigenous
learners and allies of all disciplines at McMaster.

I am writing this email in the hopes that your organization might consider
helping to sponsor this event.  Your continued support throughout our first
few years has been greatly appreciated, as has been your promotion of the
event throughout the entire student body. In years past, your group has
contributed generously to our operation costs for the day, and any
continued support you could offer would be once again very much
appreciated. Please feel free to contact us at any time with questions
regarding the event. We look forward to another great school year of
working with your office.
