[Iswg3906.organizers] Healing Walk Funding

Hey all, I just saw the emergency request come over the 6nsn list. I didn't realize quite how urgent this was--sorry about that.

There is no way to get a cheque issued quickly--as far as I know out treasurer has only been in once a week and this is the long weekend.

As far as amount, I'm unclear how much they are looking for. By the sounds of the message that and over the 6nsn list they are out up to $1000. I feel like we have a few donation demands on our budget--line 9 legal support, anti-fracking as well as this, so I'm not quite sure how to make this decision given other priorities and if everyone is ok doing it over email? 

I'm away from my computer till later so Tony could you remind is what is remaining in the budget? At this point in the year we could ask Herman to verify that our numbers add up to what he has on record. 

If we decide to donate someone would have to front the money (and get a receipt/confirmation of payment) unless they are ok to get it after the trip.
