I tried sending the message below over the list, but it keeps getting returned. I'm trying it now without the attachment.

Hi team,

I'm in support of a donation for the Sundance. I don't know what amounts you all talked about at the meeting, but it seems like a good event and I'm glad we can support it.

For Amanda and Alex's workshop, the $200 honorarium is for both of them, but the cheque can just be made out to Amanda. Alex's travel is $25, and Amanda's will be more like $50 -- both by GO bus probably. I can pick up the cheques on Friday, no problem. Would I be able to do some printing at the same time? Amanda asked if we could make some copies of an allyship zine she compiled for participants. See it attached.

Tony, I will be going grocery shopping in the next couple of days and can be sure to keep the receipt for you.

Gonna send out the blurb on the workshop now...

Hi folks:
Sounds really promising, thanks for all the hard work to pull this together. Don't forget to send it over the resist listserv with details. Others might be interested in attending. So it looks like it will be in Central Park from 3 to 7?

In regards to the Sundance budget email, I freed it up through the resist system to let it go through, Jess. Everyone should have received it. I am certainly okay with making a donation to this event's organizers. A couple hundred dollars would probably help out in lieu I imagine. What do others think? It seems like we have enough to do a decent sized donation, doesn't it?

This is an odd request but just in case anyone has any grocery receipts from last week that are in the range of $30 and resemble what would be required to feed twenty or so people, could you let me know please? We (David, Elysia) bought food for our trip down to court support last week and I threw away the darn receipt. Was hoping to get reimbursed if I could, but since I lost the receipt it may be a long shot, I know. Hence the receipt request.

Thanks, and take care,
Tony

Yup yup. That all sounds great. We can use nacho if weather craps out.

The only issue is that I won't be able to pick it up from the office later in the week, so someone else will need to do this (the office is also closed on Fridays).

> I am fine with the $200 honorarium for Amanda. Do we also want to give Alex an honorarium? And just to be sure for the expense form, travel will be $25 for each of them?
> I'll need to print this email conversation for documentation for the expense form, so could others verify that these are the agreed upon expenses before Tuesday?

> As an aside, there was also an email that was supposed to go around to the list for the Sundance Ceremony (Danielle's request) and it's been held up on the listserv due to size since Friday. I had hoped it could be sent around so we could also make a decision about this like we agreed to at the last meeting (and so that I could also submit this expense form Tuesday). I'll try to send it around again, but it may come in more than one email.

I just got off the phone with Amanda and she needs it to be that day, but we can do it a bit earlier, from 3-7, so you wouldn't be missing out if you needed to leave early. When you go to Mac on Tuesday, are you able to pick up the honorarium and travel costs then so we have it ready for Friday? If so, maybe you and I can talk to figure out details.

It would have to be a different email thread, but maybe we could call a debrief for later next weekend?

> At the last meeting we also talked about a line 9 debrief, (which would be organized through the Hamilton line 9 crew), and then perhaps a follow up event to that along the lines of decolonizing solidarity organizing work more broadly. Do folks think there might be a way for this workshop to happen alongside one of these events? Assuming it would work for Amanda and Alex's schedules of course.

> What do others think? I am a bit cloudy on our meeting and feeling like I may not be making a lot of sense at the moment because I am totally distracted/enthralled in submitting my proposal for my Friday deadline. If the workshop is happening I would try my absolute best to make it from 4-6!

When we discussed it before, we agreed on offering her a $200 honorarium plus travel costs for a 3-4 hour workshop. Alex Hundert will be presenting with her.

I was thinking either we could do it at McMaster for that or use Central park and ask if the Nacho would be interested in hosting, or we could try to book St Peter's church at Barton and Sherman (not actually a church any more)
