Community, on the uses and misuses of indigenous imagery.

7pm: Film Screening: REEL INJUN*
About the film: *Hollywood has made over 4000 films about Native people;
over 100 years of movies defining how Indians are seen by the world. **Reel
Injun takes an entertaining and insightful look at the Hollywood Indian,
exploring the portrayal of North American Natives through the history of
cinema.*

autochtones; plus de 100 ans de cinéma qui définit comment les autochtones
sont considérés par le monde. Reel Injun porte un regard divertissant et
perspicace sur les autochtones d'Hollywood, en explorant la représentation
des Autochtones en Amérique du Nord à travers l'histoire du cinéma.
